Large-Scale Army Battle

Squad is a tactical first-person shooter created by Offworld Industries. The action game features more than 80 players fighting in a very vast map. It emphasizes tactics and teamwork rather than pure gunplay.

Tactics Over Firepower

Squad is based on modern-day warfare like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The game’s main foundation is teamwork, communication, and gameplay. It connects the action of arcade shooters and the strategy of military simulation. The combined arms combat system provides realistic scenarios. This gives more authentic combat experience as players have to depend on coordination rather than going guns ablaze by themselves. They have to depend on allied intel for doing the next action. It’s the responsibility of the Squad Leaders to command every soldier in the game. Squad Leaders are given map tools with marking tools for strategic placement of infantries, structures, and vehicle paths. They have to issue tactics and efficient plans, at the same time maintain the squad cohesion to succeed in every match. The Squad Leaders can also build bases and defenses for adapting in various scenarios. They can place down heavy machine guns, AT guns, cannons, turrets and missile systems to take down larger threats. The other defensive fortification structures are HESCO bastions, razor wires, and sandbags. The other main allure of the game is the large scale battles. It can host 40 versus 40 player matches. Players can expect locations scaled from real life, as well as massive live firefights. They can join teams based on real-life squads such as the British Army, US Army, Russian Ground Forces, Irregular Militia and Insurgents. Each real-life squad has unique arsenals for variety. Anyone can ride vehicles like tanks, convoy trucks, and trucks with mounted guns. The game comes with a built-in voice over IP or VoIP system for communicating with teammates. Players don’t have to open third-party communication apps for talking with everyone online.

Communication Is Key To Victory

Squad is a decent multiplayer game among groups of friends. The combined arms combat system encourages everybody to coordinate and work together. Players will experience how real-life soldiers work during combat. It’s all about teamwork and tactics over going solo.
